Privacy Policy
Live Auction Labels (“we”, “us”) provides a Chrome extension and related services that help sellers capture live auction and giveaway wins and print thermal shipping labels. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information — email address and password (stored hashed) when you create an account.
- License / label credits — remaining label balance, session tokens, and purchase records needed to run the service.
- Sale capture data (on your device) — buyer username, item title/number, price, and timestamps for wins detected while you use Whatnot. This is stored primarily in your browser for printing and history.
- Support email — if you contact us at shop@dollarsandcents.io.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and manage label credits.
- Enable the extension to show sale history and send print jobs to your local Mac print helper.
- Process payments when you buy label packs (handled by Stripe).
- Respond to support requests and improve reliability.
Local print helper
Printing uses a helper app that runs on your Mac and listens on localhost. Sale details for a print job are sent from the extension to that local helper on your computer. We do not receive those print payloads on our servers unless you separately sync or contact support with them.
Whatnot pages
The extension runs on Whatnot live show pages to detect auction and giveaway wins. It does not sell your Whatnot password to us; you remain logged into Whatnot in your own browser session.
Third parties
- Stripe — payment processing for label packs.
- Hosting providers — our website and API (for example Heroku / database hosting).
Data retention
Account and credit records are kept while your account is active. Browser sale history is stored locally until you clear extension data or uninstall. You may request account deletion by emailing support.
Your choices
- You can sign out, stop using the extension, or uninstall it at any time.
- You can request access or deletion of your account data by contacting support.
Children
The service is intended for adult sellers and is not directed to children under 13.
